The GoTo Attendees see this 9' wide as full width of the GoTo viewer.
Despite the slide being 10' wide, GoTo crops the image and broadcasts only 9' wide. This meant 1/2 inch unused space to the right and left of the video image. Future meetings with this specific setup are moving to Zoom for the time being. I found that if I embed a video in the PowerPoint slide, I had to size it to be 9' wide. This is most definitely a problem between Teams and sharing video of embedded videos in PowerPoint slide decks. Microsoft 365 has latest patches installed. Win10 is latest with all Windows Updates patches installed. Re-launching PowerPoint doesn't solve it. Embed both Slido and video to your website If you have a dedicated event website or landing page, simply embed Slido next to your video feed. If the videos are NOT embedded, and played completely separately from PowerPoint, then no problem (split screen with half PowerPoint and half video playback) As your participants can view both video and Slido in one place, you as a host need to share just one link with them. Presenter has Gig speed from Xfinity, and Speedtest shows 910MB down and 48MB up.
Tried enabling and disabling HW acceleration in the Advanced settings in PowerPoint. NOBODY else was sharing any video (web cams were off). Occurs with 5 people or 50 people in the meeting. Its the other people in the Teams meeting that experience the video lag. The person playing the videos embedded in the slide deck projected to Teams doesn't experience any problem. ALL videos in the deck have the same problem. Its so bad that it appears frozen and only a few individual video frames appear during the rest of the video. They start playing fine, but about 5 seconds into 30 second clips, it lags. The shared screen shows no lag when navigating the deck itself. Embedded videos in PowerPoint slide decks presented via Teams Meetings have significant video lag of the actual embedded video to the others in the Teams meeting.
